Cebu Safari and Adventure Park

It is located at Carmen, a northern town in Cebu, approximately an-hour-and-a- half travel from Cebu City. 

To reach the town, you may opt to ride a van, a minibus or a bus at the Northbus Terminal nearby SM City Cebu. And then just ask the conductor where they can drop you off going to the Park.

However, I advise you not to commute in going there, because the Park is not close to the national highway. 
Short trivia: I first visited this place 3 years ago, just few months after its soft opening. At first, I was not excited because I am not into zoos. I expected a boring trip, but it turned out very amusing. I was also so glad touring around the site, seeing amazing animals that I had only seen in books and posters, and enjoying the beautiful landscapes.

I am sure it's more wonderful at present, since they have many more to offer such as their accommodations among others.

The African Safari ride was my most favorite!
For adventurous individuals, you may also enjoy their adventure park, where you can experience the 1.3km.-long zipline, Giant Swing, Sky Bike, and ATV rides. 

They are open daily (8AM-5PM) even on holidays. And currently, the Entrance Fee costs PHP900 during weekdays, while PHP1,100 on the weekends and holidays. 

Notes: 
1. No food allowed inside. Restaurants are found inside the site.
2. Cut-off time for Park ticket selling at the park's ticket counter is 1:30PM.
3. It is better to go there early in the morning to avoid heavy traffic and to maximize the tour time.

The name Inandeng is from the name of two sitios in Barangay New Agutaya, San Vicente, Palawan, where Inandeng River traverses; Inarayan and Landing. It is 2.5km long, navigatable by smalls boats and kayaks, but only 1.9km is most often navigated by the locals, particularly the fishermen in the bgy.  The end of the river meets the Long Beach, the longest white-sand beach in the Philippines.  What attract me the most about the river are the mangrove area which is believed to be one of the big help in the barangay especially during the super typhoon Odette and the coconut trees that added beauty along the wider area of the river.  Sadly, a lot of the mangrove trees in the area were devastated during the super typhoon, probably the really old ones. Bato ni Ningning

                  📸 Chuck Maquiso Trivia:  In 2015, while I was on my recovery period after my surgery, I only stayed at home for months. During those days, I got nothing else to do but read books, watch movies and for the longest time, watch TV shows.  Because of the daytime series, "Ning2x," on ABS-CBN that time, I started to wonder where they filmed the pilot episodes of the show especially the site where there's a huge rock on the top of the knoll. I found the view really lovely!  Unexpectedly,  after a year and 7 months when I could travel again, I visited my friend/colleague in San Vicente whom I hadn't seen for a long time. Puting Bato @Lutopan, Toledo City, Cebu

Mountain climbing is something I got interested in when I first overcame my fear of heights. But our climb to Puting Bato was an unexpected one, that we were not able to wear even a proper footwear. 👣The ascent After about a 25-minute trek from the national highway, this was still pretty okay for the knees. 👌    But then.....
